Hayley Orrantia is an American actor, singer, and music producer. One of her most well-known role can be Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' an American comedy show. She is primarily an artist. It is her first passion. It is something she is experimenting with since she was nine years old. When she was 12 years old, music became seriously enough that she began professionally trained. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she made her first collection of cover songs. It hasn't turned to the past ever since. Orrantia is an American native who has Hispanic origins. While she has never lived in or was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs that incorporate the language. One such song is 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere season of The X Factor. Orrantia got the X Factor's four "yeses" from the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube video submission. The first time she auditioned, she was solo but during the "Hollywood week" she was placed with three other female vocalists into a trio for the remaining auditions. Live shows were staged in the fifth week.
