Suzy Kolber, born Suzanne Lisa Kolber in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on 14th May 1964 to an Jewish family. She is currently 58 years old. Sandra Kolber is her mother and Gene Kolber is her father. Her school was Sandy Run Middle School, Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1982 she graduated from Upper Dublin High School. She graduated with an Associate of Arts in Telecommunications at The University of Miami, in 1986. As a student at the undergraduate level, she landed her first job as the sports director of Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. In addition, she worked there during two years between 1984 till 1986. In addition, she was a member of the University of Miami water skiing team during this time. Plaza was a part of the Wilmington theater as her child. She performed improvs and staged one-act shows. When she moved to New York City, Plaza studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended improv class at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006, she graduated with a master's degree in the field of film and television production. Her aphasia diagnosis was discovered at age 20, a temporary problem that limits her ability to comprehend and express language.
