Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and writer. She was raised by her mom and her father, in USA. She was subjected to racial remarks and made to feel unwanted. If she attended an event at school and was given great praise for her performance, in ninth grade she began to gain confidence. It not only boosted her self-confidence but also changed the direction she wanted to go in her career. In 1992, she received her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. In 1993 she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was called You've Got Mail. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot She played the Lady of The Lake and won both the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. In the following year she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. Also, she is a well-known singer and has produced an extended show. Also, she is an activist who is active for LGBT rights.
